Come check out the next H & I Committee Meeting to get involved!
The Hospital and Institutions subcommittee conduct panels that carry the NA message to addicts who often have no other way of hearing our message. Treatment panels are conducted for patients at addiction treatment centers, mental health facilities, and therapeutic communities. Correctional panels are held for inmates at jails, prisons, and forensic hospitals. The amount of work your local H&I subcommittee does will depend on a variety of factors: the number of treatment and correctional facilities in your area, the number of NA members in your area who are interested in H&I service, and the amount of collective experience in H&I work in your NA community.

Three Hot Topics in the H & I Committee for March
We are asking groups and individuals to donate clean copy basic texts to put in the libraries of each jail or prison meeting location. Please give donated books to your GSR to bring to the ASC, or you can bring them to the Area Office.
We are presently reaching out to our institutions that we carry an H&I meeting into and asking them for their feedback. Is there anything else we can do to be of service? How are we doing as members and a fellowship for the institution itself? We want to contribute to the effort to carry the message, not distract from the message.
Have you ever been to an H&I meeting? This is an excellent way to immediately feel Humble and Grateful for those problems that you see in your life. Bring your sponsor, sponsee, running partner, or a friend. Just make sure you contact the H&I person for that meeting you want to attend for the guidelines for that meeting, or use the H&I email to let us know you want to help!
